Four reasons why we succeed where others fail.
1. The expert’s expert
Harry Ramos, founder of All Seasons Pest Solutions, first became involved in pest control in 1984 when he worked as plant manager for a food manufacturer in New York City and was not satisfied with the job done by a pest control vendor.
He put himself to school, connecting up with Dr. Austin Frishman, a world-renowned entomologist who has published nine books on various insect and pest management topics and remains Harry’s mentor to this day.
Having formed his own company in 1992, Harry was concerned from the beginning about the possible harmful effects of pest control products. He was constantly searching for better alternatives. So it was natural for him to embrace green pest management and its associated Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocol for diagnosing and treating pest problems.
2. The secret to maintaining a high level of service, day in and day outThe second reason All Seasons succeeds where others fail is that it’s one thing to have a proven IPM protocol, but it is another thing entirely to get all your staff to actually follow that protocol, exactly, all of the time.
One of the reasons Harry has been able to do this is that he spent years in the military and tends to recruit people with a military background.
So he not only knows how to train his staff but works only with people who respond well to training, take their service seriously, and don’t have to be taught to respect the customers they serve.
3. Seeing through the walls
Another key factor in Harry’s success is the four years he spent in custom building construction in Northern New Jersey, which is almost as important as his knowledge of entomology.
Knowing the different ways that buildings are constructed helps answer questions such as: What’s going on behind those walls? How are those rodents or insects gaining access? What exactly do we have to do to deny access?
4. “If you can make it there…”
The final key to Harry’s success is that his service area has for years included the New York Metropolitan area and the State of Florida. Not only does the city have an ongoing rodent problem, but, due to the intense competition between pest management companies, clients there expect and demand high quality service.
This has helped hone All Seasons Pest Solution’s approach to service, which in turn has allowed it to thrive in a demanding market, where its clients now include elite restaurants and hotels, along with a hospital, two universities, and a number of prestigious condominium and apartment properties.
